I organize periodic events to promote the benefits of organic farming, organic food consumption, and sustainable living. I invite like-minded individuals to volunteer by visiting the "Volunteer" tab. Please take time and attend some of these events.
Composting at St. Charles High School
6 November 2015
This event was organized in association with St. Charles High School so that students of their Eco Club and students of 7th Grade could learn more about composting.
First students were briefed about issues with waste disposal. The issue of wet waste managment was talked about. The guidelines and benefits of composting were also discussed. Then a demonstration of composting was then done to the students.
The students were very excited that they could convert waste into a useful substance, and that it could be used for growing their plants.
Here are a few photographs from the event.

Tomato sapling distribution
on June 6 & 7, 2015 at 6:30AM
at Cubbon Park, Bangalore, India

This event was arranged on the occasion of World Environment Day (June 5th) under United Nations Environment Program (UNEP).

This event was well attended, and we successfully gave away about 1,000 tomato saplings to the walkers in Cubbon Park. There was a lot of interest among the morning walkers. We were able to spread the message of sustainability, and encouraged them to use whatever small space they have to produce small quantities of food items. Below are a few photographs of the event:
